Sunday Advanced Co-Ed 4 vs 4 - Now Open For Registration!
This league is catered to the more experienced and competitive teams. All teams of this league will be able to pass, set, and spike on a consistent basis. All beach volleyball rules will be strictly enforced (including NO OPEN HAND RECEIVES ON SERVES, SHOULDERS MUST BE SQUARE WHEN HAND SETTING OVER THE NET, NO FINGER TIP REDIRECTS, NO CARRIES, and NO LIFTS). The hand sets in this division will be called tighter than in any other league at Bumpy Pickle Beach. Doubles and carries while setting will result in a point for the other team. The overall attitude in this division is to have some fun, but these teams only have fun when they win.
There will be at least two double headers scheduled for this session.
START DATE: Sunday (6/11/23)
The league will be eight weeks long. (Six weeks of pool play, and the final two weeks will be playoffs)
Time slots for this league are (6:00, 7:00, 8:00) on Sundays.
Every team will play in at least one time slot per week.
Matches will be played within 60 minutes.
All matches consist of three games of rally scoring (21,21,15)*caps set at (23,23,17)
Teams must have at least one female on the court at all times.
All games will be self-refereed and scored.
Substitutions are allowed during the regular season and the new teammate will be counted as an official substitute. New substitutes will be allowed during playoffs, but only in emergencies, and as long as they are not ringers. (Substitutes do not cost extra.)
The cost is $240 a team.
You are allowed to bring your own food and drinks but please remember that we do not allow glass or pets.
